Neighbourhood Plan ‘approved’ for the next stage…

On Wednesday 13th December the Parish Council approved the draft Neighbourhood Plan, with associated documents, for submission to ENC for a further round of consultation and independent examination.

This next phase is known as Regulation 16. There is a new page is on this website (‘Regulation 16’) where copies of all relevant documents will be found, including the latest version of the Neighbourhood Plan along with appendices and maps.

The Regulation 16 consultation will run from Friday, 12 January – Monday, 26 February 2018, inclusive (6 weeks). Comments are invited, regarding whether the draft Glapthorn Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documentation fulfils the “basic conditions”, as required by paragraph 8 (1) (a) (2) of Schedule 4B to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (inserted by the Localism Act 2011). If you wish to comment, I advise that you use the Glapthorn Neighbourhood Plan response form found on the ENC website. The Regulation 16 consultation focuses upon five “basic conditions”, set out in the response form, and whether or not the plan meets these.

1 Response to Neighbourhood Plan ‘approved’ for the next stage…

  1. Susan Jones says:

As an ex member of staff at Glapthorn School I feel that the proposed development of the land behind the school will much enhance the provision of sporting achievements by pupils attending the school and the local community.
Good luck with the proposed plans.
